Warning message: This printer is not authorized for secure printing
The standard setting (“protected mode”) of Adobe Reader X and of the DC version prevent DRM-protected documents and e-books as PDFs from being printed. Deactivate the protected mode as follows:
- Go to “Edit” > “Preferences” This opens a dialogue box.
- Under “Categories”, select “General”.
- Deselect the box for “Enable Protected Mode at Startup”.
Now close the document and open it again. Start printing.
If the error message appears again, please delete the document from your computer (also from the recycle bin) and download it again via our website. If it still doesn't work, send us a short email at international@beuth.de.
Warning message: This exceeds the maximum number of copies you are permitted to print.
Some standards bodies obligate us to add DRM protection to documents and limit the number that can be printed.
